Concrete poets spend so much time looking at the physical substance of language that they find they can't help looking for the physical substance of language in places where most peopleand most poetsnever think to look.
The human brain seems hardwired, no matter what, for pattern recognition and for metaphor making. All good poetry is actively engaged in the latter. All good concrete poetry actively engages both.
It is for these reasons I place this series of LITHOKONS by mIEKAL aND in front of your eyes, your fingers, your toes, your nose.
For those of you who would prefer to peruse these in a setting free of the clutter of the sidebar informations, you are invited to the alternate formatting of the aND, mIEKAL author archive.
